Flipkart is running a Black Friday Sale on its platform, which will continue until November 30. The sale includes bank and exchange offers. One will find devices such as iPhone 12, Pixel 4a, Realme Narzo 30, and other phones on sale.

Apple’s iPhone 12 can be purchased for Rs 56,999 during Flipkart’s Black Friday sale. There is also a prepaid offer of Rs 2,000, which if customers avail, then they will be able to buy the iPhone 12 for Rs 54,999. The listing also shows that the buyer can also exchange their old phone and get a discount of up to Rs 14,250. Comparatively, Apple’s online store is offering the same device for Rs 59,990.

The Motorola Edge 20 Pro, which was launched in India with a starting price of Rs 36,999, is currently available for Rs 34,999 during Flipkart’s Black Friday sale. The mentioned price is for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The above-mentioned exchange offer is also applicable on this phone. It packs a 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC.

If you are a fan of Google Pixel phones and want a device that will offer a great photography and software experience, then you can buy the Google Pixel 4a. It is available for as low as Rs 27,999. This smartphone was previously listed on the site for Rs 29,999. This means that interested buyers are getting a discount of Rs 2,000 on the Pixel 4a.

The Vivo X70 Pro was launched earlier this year for Rs 46,990 and it is still available for the same price. But, there is a discount offer of Rs 3,600, which is applicable on ICICI, CITI and Kotak bank credit cards. So this means one can get the Vivo X70 Pro for Rs 43,390 after availing the offer. The mentioned price is for the base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant.

The Realme GT Neo 2, which was launched last month for Rs 31,999, is on sale with a flat Rs 4,000 discount offer on bank cards. The Moto G60 can be bought for Rs 16,499, down from its launch price of Rs 17,999.

During the Black Friday sale, the iPhone SE is being sold for Rs 29,999, whereas the Infinix Hot 10 Play is priced at Rs 8,299. Flipkart is selling the Realme Narzo 30 with a starting price of Rs 13,499. There is also a flat discount of Rs 1,500 on debit and credit cards.

BGMI Update: Krafton introduces 3 hours playtime limit, check other restrictions - Zee News

New Delhi: Krafton has introduced a slew of new measures to make Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) safer for players under the age of 18. The gaming developer has launched new parental control features under the ‘Game Responsibly’ campaign. 

As part of the campaign, Krafton has introduced two major changes - time limitations and OTP verification. Both the changes are introduced to ensure that BGMI offers a safe and responsible gaming platform for Indian users under the age of 18. 

Krafton had previously pointed out that gamers under 18 will require consent from their parents to play the game. On similar lines, the company has introduced OTP verification from parents. 

The OTP will work as a key to playing the BGMI game. “Every player, below the age of 18, needs to register a parent or a guardian before they start playing for the first time. An OTP will be sent to the registered person’s number, post which the minor is allowed to play the game,” Krafton said in a statement.

Other features that have been introduced by Krafton as part of the ‘Game Responsibly’ campaign include support for warning messages, break reminders, game limits and more.

Moreover, Krafton has also limited the BGMI playtime to three hours for gamers under the age of 18 years. Another major change introduced by Krafton is to limit the daily spending limit to Rs 7000.

Moreover, the company has recently introduced BGMI 1.7 update with special features and new gameplay mechanics. Lava AGNI set to give tough competition to Chinese phones - Telangana Today

New Delhi: Amid the super-tough competition from Chinese smartphone makers, domestic brand Lava International Limited is aiming to challenge them with its first 5G smartphone — AGNI– and woo Indian users.

Compared to other players, the domestic smartphone company is quite late to launch a 5G smartphone. However, it still doesn’t make any difference as 5G services haven’t begun yet for the users in India.

Priced at Rs 19,999, Lava AGNI is one of the most expensive smartphones the company has launched in India to date. The smartphone comes with a power-packed chipset and quad rear camera setup.

We reviewed AGNI for a while and here’s how the smartphone performed on our parameters.

In terms of design, the smartphone offers a single colour option that is ferry blue, which has a shade of silver. And it makes the device look soothing. On the back panel, you will find the quad-camera setup placed on the top left and the company’s branding on the bottom left.

The good thing is that the back panel does not attract smudges at all.

On the front, there is a punch-hole selfie camera placed in the top centre. The volume rockers are placed on the left edge, while the power key is on the right edge. On the bottom edge, you will find an audio jack, Type-C port and a speaker grille.

AGNI features a 6.78-inch Full HD+ IPS punch-hole display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone’s screen has Corning Gorilla Glass protection for higher durability.

Even in the bright light condition, we found that the content on the screen was visible as sunlight or bright light did not hinder our viewing experience and the colour reproduction remained intact even when we viewed the screen from different angles.

The high refresh rate also gave a lag-free viewing experience during gaming or while watching videos. However, few smartphones in the same budget offer a 120Hz refresh rate, which makes it more convenient for gaming or watching videos but at the same time, it consumes more battery.

Talking about the camera department, AGNI features 64MP primary camera, along with a 5MP wide-angle camera, 2MP depth camera and a 2MP macro camera on the rear panel. And, there’s a 16MP front camera for selfies and video calling.

The smartphone also comes with a few inbuilt camera modes like UltraHD, UltraWide, SuperNight, Pro Mode and AI Mode, etc.

The rear cameras offered crisp and clear under direct sunlight or bright light. However, pictures clicked under low light conditions were a little pixelated. The front camera delivered clear pictures under bright light conditions and can be a good option for your Zoom meetings.

The smartphone is powered by a Dimensity 810 processor that offers a comprehensive suite of connectivity features to ensure faster, more reliable connections on both 5G SIM slots. Also, the smartphone comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.

We found that the smartphone was lag-free while multitasking and it also most mid-to-heavy games without much hassle.

The smartphone also comes equipped with the latest security features such as a side-mounted fingerprint unlock as well as face unlock options.

As far as the battery is concerned, the smartphone offers a massive 5000mAh battery with a 30W superfast charger that can help you charge your phone faster.

On our usage, we found that it did a good job as it lasted around a day on a single charge on normal usage that included messaging, calling, mails, clicking a few pictures, etc.

Conclusion: The smartphone is a good initiative by the brand as it offers a lot of features that are offered by other players in the same segment. However, notching up the design a little will surely make the device more interesting.

With a few similar features, Lava AGNI, which is said to be completely conceived and ‘make in India’ smartphone, gives a tough competition to several Chinese smartphones in its price range.

Oppo foldable phone might be called Find N 5G and a Huawei foldable could be in the works - GSMArena.com news - GSMArena.com

It seems like foldable display devices are constantly battling adversity. Not only is the technology still maturing and very expensive, but its rise is alco currently battling unfortunate global market and economic conditions. Even so, Samsung has successfully proven that if you are big enough and bold enough in your offers and pricing, the foldable form factor can have a lot of success.

Keeping that in mind, it seems like the foldable market is on the cusp of a major expansion. According to industry sources, Oppo has been working on its first foldable for quite some time now. Unfortunately missing rumored launch windows one after the other in the process. Well, in an interesting potential new development, reputable leakster Digital Chat Station recently shared a couple of interesting posts on Weibo. The first one of these was tagged as being posted from a mysterious device called the Oppo Find N 5G. The post itself contain a reference to the long-forgotten Oppo N series of phones and a photo of what seems to be the Oppo N3 - a very peculiar device from 2014/2015 which had its main camera on a motorized swivel so it could act as a selfie and also capture some intriguing panoramas.

The second post related to the mysterious Oppo Find N 5G seems to mention both a foldable display, as well as a way to use the phone's main 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor for selfies. Definitely not inconceivable on a foldable phone. The post does also feature a reference to the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra which pulls-off selfies with the main camera through a tiny display on the back. Perhaps the Oppo Find N 5G will have a tiny display of its own, seeing how most sources agree that it will be an inward folder. The Find branding definitely suggests flagship features, so we wouldn't put it past Oppo. Then again, we should note that some of the company's recent foldable device patents have also included things like a pop-up camera, as well as an odd clamshell with an outward-facing screen and a camera bar kind of reminiscent to the aforementioned Oppo N3.

A different source claims that Oppo's foldable display phone sports a 7.8 to 8-inch OLED display, with 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Apparently, it is so far into its development and production cycle that units are already dissipating through internal channels to stores for the purposes of employee training. That would mean an imminent release.

News on the Huawei side is definitely less concrete and specific. It has to do with a recent investor meeting of a company called Zhaoli Technology, where it was revealed that the company has started mass production of a new foldable smartphone hinge for a large customer. Zhaoli Technology did not specify the client's name, but industry analysts believe it is Huawei.

What Zhaoli Technology did mention, however, was the fact that this new design is apparently not overly complicated and will allow higher profit margins on the device itself. A development that even a company on the scale of Huawei desperately needs to make a future foldable device viable and successful. All information that ties in nicely with previous rumors that Huawei is indeed working on a more affordable foldable phone.

If all goes well, we might just be on the cusp of a major foldable display market expansion that could really shake up the cutting-end, high-end, premium market segment of the industry.
