Motorola’s new Motorola Edge 30 is now available to purchase in India, nearly a week after its launch. The device is touted as the world’s slimmest 5G smartphone, measuring just 6.79mm in thickness. The phone also comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 778+, a boosted version of the Snapdragon 778G that powers several notable Android phones like the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G. The new Motorola device’s other key features include two 50-megapixel cameras on the back and 33W TurboPower fast charging support.

Motorola Edge 30 Price in India, Offers

The Motorola Edge 30’s sale in India began today, May 19, at noon. It is available in two colour variants – meteor grey and aurora green on Flipkart, Reliance Digital and leading retail stores. Its price is set at Rs 27,999 for the base 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, and the 8GB option with the same internal memory costs Rs 29,999.

As a part of the introductory sale offer, Flipkart is offering bank offers that effectively bring the price down to Rs 25,999 and Rs 27,999, respectively.

Motorola Edge 30 Specification

As the name suggests, the Motorola Edge 30 is a toned-down version of the Motorola Edge 30 Pro, but it still retains modest hardware for the price tag. It comes with a 6.5-inch pOLED display that we also saw on the Moto G52. The display also has Full-HD+ resolution (2,400 x 1,080 pixels) along with HDR10+ support, 144Hz refresh rate, and a 20:9 aspect ratio.

On the back, we get a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera with macro vision, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. There’s a 32-megapixel camera inside the hole-punch cutout on the front that can record 4K videos. The camera app comes bundled with modes like Dual Capture, Spot Colour, Night Vision (RAW), Auto Night Vision (RAW), Portrait, Cutout, Live Filter in Photo mode, and Panorama.

Apple’s next iPhone launch event is set to take place in September. According to a new report by PhoneArena, the Cupertino-based tech giant is expected to launch the upcoming iPhone 14 series at an event scheduled for September 13. Rumours suggest that Apple will be introducing four models under the iPhone 14 series that will include -- a 6.1-inch iPhone 14, a 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max, a 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro, and a 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max.
iPhone 14 series expected price and availability
The report claims that the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max may start at $799 (roughly around Rs 62,000) and $899 (roughly around Rs 70,000) respectively. The storage options on these smartphones might range from 128GB to 256GB to 512GB. iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max devices could carry a price tag of $1,099 (roughly around Rs 85,000) and $1,199 (roughly around Rs 93,000) respectively. In this case, the storage options might range from 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and possibly up to 2TB.
Apple iPhone 14 series expected specifications
The report also suggests that Apple is expected to equip the iPhone 14 Pro variants with the 4nm A16 Bionic chipset while the non-Pro models might reuse the 5nm A15 Bionic found in the iPhone 13 series handsets. The company will be able to offer more competitive pricing for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max by reusing the chip.
The upcoming iPhone 14 Pro models might also get a new "i-shaped" front camera cutout for the FaceTime camera and the True Depth Camera. However, the non-Pro models will come with the notch found in the previous series. The Pro variants are also expected to feature a 120Hz ProMotion display and a 48MP Wide camera. More details will be revealed as the launch date gets closer.
Apple Watch expected specifications
The company is likely to introduce three new Apple Watch models at the upcoming iPhone launch event. Apple may unveil the Apple Watch 8, which is rumoured to feature flat sides once again at the iPhone launch event. The company might also launch a budget model which will be an Apple Watch SE and a brand new Extreme Edition that is expected to compete with smartwatches that are designed to track outdoor sports and activities.
Apple AirPods Pro 2 expected specifications
Apple might also launch the sequel to the company’s premium TWS earbuds, the AirPods Pro 2 in the same event. This upcoming TWS model may exclude the stem and is supposed to feature the next-gen ANC and Lossless Audio support. The charging case of the Apple AirPods Pro 2 is likely to support USB-C charging.
