OnePlus Nord N200 5G launch has been officially confirmed by the company. The device is set to launch in June after the OnePlus Nord CE 5G India launch on June 10th. The handset will come as the successor to the Nord N100 that came with a 6.52-inch 90Hz display, Snapdragon 460 SoC, 13MP triple cameras, and a 5,000mAh battery. While the brand hasn’t revealed the OnePlus Nord N200 5G specifications or launch date yet, it will be a 5G offering and should bring considerable upgrades to the design as well internal hardware. Unfortunately, it looks like the OnePlus Nord N200 5G India launch will not be happening as the phone will be releasing in North America.

OnePlus Nord N200 5G not launching in India
OnePlus says that it had introduced the ‘Nord’ product line with a goal to make the OnePlus experience more accessible. The first OnePlus Nord is said to have achieved the highest day sales volume in the company’s history. The Nord N10 5G and N100 were the company’s first-gen budget offerings and are apparently well-received. “At OnePlus, our product strategy and development are always led by the needs of our users. Based on the market feedback and user insight from our previous products, we have decided to continue to expand the OnePlus Nord portfolio to cater to these growing needs and preferences in different markets,” said OnePlus CEO Pete Lau.
The OnePlus CEO has confirmed that the OnePlus Nord N200 5G will only be launching in the US and Canada markets. This makes sense considering the Nord N100 never made it to India. Still, OnePlus fans in India would have liked to see a budget OnePlus device. The OnePlus Nord CE 5G launch date in India is June 10th and its price is tipped to be lower than the original Nord. In fact, it could be the cheapest 5G phone from the brand in India yet.
