Spotify has announced a limited video and audio series titled ‘Ruk Jaana Nahi’ to highlight stories from good samaritans during the Covid-19 pandemic. The series will feature a total 8 episodes, and it will be hosted by Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao.
Spotify will release the Ruk Jaana Nahi series towards the end of next week. It has released the trailer today which features a poem written by lyricist Swanand Kirkire, and narrated by Rajkummar Rao. There will be a total of 8 episodes in this series including videos and audio features talking about the different acts of kindness by different individuals during the Covid-19 pandemic in India. Spotify said it will feature stories from doctors who chose duty despite personal losses. It will also highlight stories of those who have cooked meals for those in need, and individuals who are going out of their way to distribute masks.
The series will also include stories about people who have provided aid even with limited resources. It will also talk about young Indians who helped connect patients with medical facilities. There has been an outpour of help and requests for Covid-19 patients on social media. This also led to people providing leads for such requests wherever possible.

Spotify also has an ongoing podcast show with the same name. This podcast series started streaming on May 21 which also talks about the stories of “ordinary people doing extraordinary things” during the pandemic.
