Back in April, we had seen a report from 91Mobiles that revealed that Xiaomi is aiming to launch the Redmi 10 series in India soon. However, the launch date of this upcoming series was not revealed earlier. Now, ahead of launch, Xiaomi seems to have started teasing the launch of the Redmi 10 series. Redmi 10 Series India Launch Teased?
The company’s official India Twitter handle has posted a short 12-second video that mentions “Redmi Revolution”. Alongside the video, in the tweet, Redmi also mentions to watch its Twitter timeline for more #10on10 action. With this cryptic tweet, we possibly think that Xiaomi is aiming to launch the Redmi 10 series smartphones in India soon. As of now, the company hasn’t officially revealed the launch date. However, now that we have started seeing teasers by Redmi, we can expect the brand to soon announce the official launch date of the Redmi 10.
To recap, the Redmi 10 series will be succeeding the Redmi 9 lineup. Xiaomi had launched five devices in the Redmi 9 lineup which include – the Redmi 9, Redmi Prime, Redmi 9 Power, Redmi 9A, and the Redmi 9i. The company might launch the successor to all these devices this year. As of now, we don’t have any details available about the upcoming Redmi 10 series smartphones. We can expect the upcoming Redmi 10 lineup to run Android 11 out of the box, and feature a FHD+ display. The Redmi 10 series price in India might start around Rs 10,000.
