Consumer electronics giant Samsung has already confirmed that it will not launch a new Galaxy Note smartphone this year. The company aims to bring its S Pen experience to other high-end smartphones and is focusing a lot on the new foldable Galaxy Z series smartphones.
According to a new rumour, Samsung is expected to launch its new foldable smartphones and the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch Active 4 at its August Galaxy Unpacked event.
As per tipster Max Weinbach, Samsung is said to host its Galaxy Unpacked event on August 3. The company is expected to unveil Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3 foldable smartphones at the event. Along with the two smartphones, the tech giant is also said to launch its latest smartwatches -- Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch Active 4 at the event.
On the other hand, another tipster Jon Prosser adds that Samsung might also start shipping the smartwatches a week after the launch from August 11. However, the shipment of the foldable phones is said to begin from August 27.
Prosser also suggests that the Galaxy Watch 4 will come in 42mm and 46mm sizes, while the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 4 will come in 40mm and 44mm sizes.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 is said to come with S Pen support and is expected to be priced around $1,099 (Rs 80,770).
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is said to be the first smartphone of the company to come with an under-display camera. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is also said to come with S Pen support.
The new S Pen is said to come with a sharp tip which will prevent damaging the screen. Both the smartphones are said to come with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
