After the success of its first connected smartwatch last year - the Mi Watch Revolve, Xiaomi has now announced the launch of a new smartwatch which is an update over its 2020 predecessor.
Xiaomi put out a tweet earlier today announcing a dedicated microsite for the Mi Watch Revolve Active and also mentioned some of its key features. The website stated that the launch of the new smartwatch will happen on 22nd June.

The microsite also reveals that the new smartwatch's highlighting feature will be its ability to monitor blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) levels. It will also support VO2 monitoring to give you a sense of how much oxygen your body is able to utilize during exercise.

Some of the other features listed include GPS, heart rate monitor, “maximum" sport modes, stress and sleep monitoring, inbuilt Amazon Alexa, and colour band options. Users can also get notifications on the smartwatch from connected apps.
In terms of design, the Mi Watch Revolve Active is expected to feature the round-shaped dial that we saw with the Mi Watch Revolve last year. To recall, original Mi Watch Revolved came with a 1.39-inch AMOLED display that supports always-on-display functionality and 450 nits of brightness. The watch dial has a metallic frame and weighs 40 grams excluding the strap.
The Xiaomi Mi Watch Revolve Active will also be available to purchase via Amazon, a listing on the e-commerce site reveals. As mentioned, Xiaomi will launch the Mi 11 Lite in India on the same day.
