Xiaomi to launch Mi TV Webcam for video calling on June 24 - Times of India

Chinese consumer technology brand Xiaomi is set to launch its Mi TV Webcam in India this week. As the name suggests, this is an accessory for smart TVs, that will allow users to make video calls using their TV screens.

Mi TV Webcam: What we know so far
Xiaomi has created a microsite for the upcoming Mi TV Webcam ahead of the launch, however, it has revealed very little in terms of the specs or features it may offer.
As per the information revealed on the website, this upcoming device from Xiaomi will be an externally attachable device that will support full-HD video calls via Google Duo.
The Mi TV webcam will also offer support for 3D noise reduction and far-field microphones.
For privacy, the Mi TV webcam has a physical shutter that users will be able to place when they are not using the camera.
Mi 11 Lite, Mi Watch Revolve Active launching on June 22
The TV Webcam is not the only product Xiaomi is launching this week in India. The company is already set to launch a new smartphone — Mi 11 Lite — and a new smartwatch — Mi Watch Revolve Active — on June 22.
The company has scheduled the event for 12.30 tomorrow (June 22) for the launch.
The Mi 11 Lite will join the Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro smartphones as the fourth smartphone in the Mi 11 series. Mi Watch Revolve Active on the other hand will be the second smartwatch of the company.
The USP of the Mi 11 Lite is set to be its weight, whereas for the Mi Watch Revolve Active it is going to be its SpO2 support.
