Battlegrounds Mobile India is enthralling crores of gamers in India since its launch earlier this month. The release marked a return for the blockbuster game PUBG Mobile in an all-new avatar in India from almost a year-long ban. However, not all who were waiting for the comeback have been able to check out the game as of now.
That is simply because Battlegrounds Mobile India has only been launched on the Google Play Store for Android users as of now. The game has garnered more than 10 million downloads on the Play Store since its launch. iOS users, though, still await a chance to do so from the Apple App Store.
Make no mistake, Krafton does have a plan to bring an iOS version of the game. It clearly specifies so on several of its platforms. The details of this launch, however, are yet shrouded from public view.
Several speculations were made over the PUBG Mobile iOS release date, even when a return of the game was not yet finalised in India. Once it was confirmed that it would be introduced as Battlegrounds Mobile India, iPhone users were not particularly happy with the lack of an iOS release date.
The enthusiasm still remains strong among the vast portion of the user base of PUBG Mobile India that preferred iPhones and iPads to play the game. The iOS launch date for Battlegrounds Mobile India is frequently enquired about across all social media platforms.
The truth, however, is that there is no official confirmation on the launch of the game on iOS. In fact, Krafton has not even dropped a clue or given a tentative window for the iOS release. For now, Krafton is focusing on bringing more of the Android players onboard. It recently kickstarted the Battlegrounds Mobile India launch party, offering a total prize pool of Rs 6 lakh to winners.
