Earlier today, a teaser page for an upcoming smartphone from Redmi went live on Amazon India. Going by the teaser page, many of us speculated it to be the Redmi 10 series. However, the source code of the teaser page reveals that this upcoming smartphone from Redmi is actually the Redmi Note 10T 5G. For those of you who don’t know, the Redmi Note 10T 5G has already been launched in Russia. When launched in India, the Redmi Note 10T 5G will be the first Redmi smartphone with 5G connectivity in the country. Let us have a look at the handset in detail.

Redmi Note 10T 5G launch in India teased officially
First spotted by Mukul Sharma, the source code of the dedicated teaser page on Amazon India for the upcoming smartphone from Redmi mentions “Redmi Note 10T 5G.” It confirms that the teaser page on Amazon India belongs to the Redmi Note 10T 5G and not the Redmi 10 series. While Redmi hasn’t revealed the Redmi Note 10T 5G launch date in India, the fact that the brand is teasing the smartphone on the e-commerce website suggests that Redmi Note 10T 5G could launch in India very soon. The dedicated teaser page also confirms that the Redmi Note 10T 5G will be sold in the Indian market through Amazon India.
With the launch of the Redmi Note 10T 5G, the brand will have five Redmi Note 10 series smartphones in the country with the other four being the Redmi Note 10, the Redmi Note 10 Pro, the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max, and the Redmi Note 10S. As I mentioned earlier, the Redmi Note 10T 5G will be the first 5G smartphone from the brand in India, and it will compete directly with the likes of the Realme Narzo 30 5G and the Realme X7 5G. The Redmi Note 10T 5G features a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with FHD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a punch-hole mounted in the top-centre portion of the screen. The smartphone has three rear cameras: a 48MP primary unit, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. At the front, there is an 8MP camera sensor. The device has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and it ships with the Android 11 OS.
Powering the Redmi Note 10T 5G is the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. The phone is available in 4GB+64GB, 4GB+128GB, and 6GB+128GB configurations in Russia. The device packs a 5,000mAh battery and supports 18W charging.
