Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 vs Galaxy Z Flip 3: What's same and different in Samsung's new foldable phones - Gadgets Now

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is the better choice for users who like to multi-task. The Z Fold 3 reportedly allows users to run up to three apps on the screen simultaneously. Samsung is and working with third-party developers to optimize their apps for the Fold 3's large display. The names include Microsoft Office, Snapchat, YouTube and TikTok.

Both the phones support Flex mode. This means that flexible hinge and glass display of the phone allows users to use apps even when the phone is partially folded. Apps reorient to fit the screen, allowing users to send messages or browse the web without holding the phone. For example, you can set the phone somewhere flat, like on a table, and use the bottom half of the screen to navigate. Unfold the phone to use the apps in Full screen mode, and partially fold it again to return to Flex Mode. However, Flex Mode is compatible with select apps only.
