Unfortunately, the lack of a built-in battery means that you must connect it to an FPV drones' battery. According to GoPro, the Hero 10 Black Bones features a standard FPV industry connector and can be powered by 5-27 V batteries. Currently, GoPro lists the Hero 10 Black Bones as being 'US only', where it retails for US$399.98 with a 1-year GoPro subscription. However, the company also lists the camera on its German and UK websites for €529.99 and £479.99, respectively.
For reference, a GoPro subscription includes unlimited cloud backup, auto uploads and use of the Quik app. Also, GoPro throws in 50% off products on its website and a 'no-questions-asked camera replacement'. Alternatively, the Hero 10 Black Bones costs US$499.99 without a GoPro subscription. It remains to be seen why GoPro lists the camera on other regional websites if it only plans to sell it in the US.
