Xiaomi Smart Speaker IR Control is here. Xiaomi has added yet another affordable product to its lineup with the launch of Xiaomi Smart Speaker IR Control. Powered by Google Assistant, the smart speaker has borrowed the design elements from its predecessor. The speaker houses a big LED clock and an IR blaster that enable users to control non-smart devices in their homes.

Xiaomi Smart Speaker IR Control is priced at Rs 4,999 and can be purchased in black colour options. The smart speaker can be purchased from mi.com, Mi Home Store, Flipkart and offline from authorised retail outlets.

The all new Xiaomi smart speaker comes with a 1.5-inch display. The device also features far-field microphones that facilitate voice wake-up. The speaker also comes with a feature that enables users to pair a second speaker to the device to create a stereo sound effect.
Xiaomi Smart Speaker IR Control also comes equipped with a large LED digital clock display. This functionality also enables users to use the speaker as a desk click. Along with this, the clock also has a DND mode that totally obscures the time while you’re sleeping at night. The smart speaker also automatically adjust the brightness to match the level of light in the room.
Xiaomi Smart Speaker IR Control sports a built-in Chromecast that allows users to cast media to other compatible devices. As mentioned above the smart speaker already has Google Assistant support so that you can control the other smart devices in your house using voice commands.
The smart speaker also consists of physical buttons using which you can control the volume, skip track and also mute the microphone. Apart from all these features the Xiaomi smart speaker also comes equipped with an IR blaster using which you can control your other home appliances.
You can also control the smart speaker using the Xiaomi Home or Mi Home app.
