Poco has announced the launch date of its upcoming Poco M5 smartphone in India - September 5. The launch event will be livestreamed on Poco India's YouTube channel. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer recently teased the launch of its smartphone on Twitter. The company had teased the word "G99" which hinted that the smartphone could be powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC. Also, another report has already leaked the expected price and specifications of the Poxo M5 in India.
Poco has revealed that the Poco M5 will be launched globally on September 5 at 5.30PM IST.
The company also teased the launched the launch of its M-series phone which was tipped to be called the Poco M5.

According to a recent report, the Poco M5 could be priced under Rs. 15,000 in India. The above-mentioned pricing is supposed to be for the smartphone's base model.

According to reports, the Poco M5 will be a 4G device. It's believed to run on Android 12 right out of the box. According to reports, the phone would have a 6.58-inch LCD display with full-HD+ quality. It could be powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, as previously stated. The phone is rumoured to include a 5,000mAh battery and capability for at least 33W fast charging. A Poco M5 variant with 5G compatibility could be released in the future, according to reports.
The back panel of the handset is claimed to be "chic-leather-like." For added protection, the Poco M5 may include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. According to the research, it could enable dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth v5 connectivity.
