Black Friday smartwatches and fitness trackers deals - GSMArena.com news - GSMArena.com

Amazon Black Friday is here, and if you’ve been eyeing a new smartwatch or fitness tracker, then it’s time to go over some deals. Here’s a list of smartwatch and smartband deals from across Amazon US, Amazon UK and Amazon DE.

Smartwatches

Kicking off the smartwatch list is Apple’s top dog – Apple Watch Ultra. Sure it costs a pretty penny/euro cent, but you are getting a proper rugged smartwatch with all the bells and whistles offered by Cupertino, and it’s a few bucks off from its usual price. Apple is not a fan of steep discounts.

Next up is the Apple Watch Series 8 Aluminum starting at $449/£509/€569 for the 41mm version (GPS+cellular) while the 45mm is $479/£529/€609. Apple has refined its Watch Series for years, and the eighth iteration brings all the expected health and sports tracking features alongside the new temperature sensor, crash detection feature, and a low-power mode.

Next up is a Wear OS entry – the Pixel Watch from Google. This is one of the most elegant and unique smartwatches out there, and it definitely has that premium feel. We liked the snappy Wear OS 3.5 and improved fitness tracking via Google Fit, though, as all first-gen products, Pixel Watch falls short in some areas – especially battery life. Nevertheless, it makes for an excellent companion to any Android phone, especially if you’re a Pixel phone user.

Samsung has a bunch of watches on offer and Galaxy Watch5 Pro is the latest and greatest one. The LTE-equipped model comes down to $429/£429/€392 depending on your market. You’ve got the full-fledged Wear OS 3.5 experience with the added overlay of One UI Watch on top. The build is top-of-the-line with Sapphire glass and a titanium casing, and there’s some advanced health tracking, including BMI readings and ECG monitoring.

The standard Galaxy Watch5 is another option to consider. It comes in 40mm and 44m sizes and runs the same Wear OS 3.5 with One UI Watch on top just like the Pro model though with less premium aluminum casings and watch bands as well as smaller batteries.

The older Watch4 generation is also on offer with the Samsung Galaxy Watch4 Classic and Galaxy Watch4 models. Watch4 Classic has the fan-favorite rotating bezel while Watch4 is an excellent option at its reduced price-point with most of the health and fitness tracking features from the Watch5 series.

If the Pixel Watch is too small and you’re not a fan of Samsung’s One UI 4.5 there’s the Fossil Gen 6, which also boots Wear OS (the old version), though an update to Wear OS 3 is available. This is a solid-built, premium watch with a capable OS and all the health and activity tracking features you could ask for.

Huawei’s Watch GT 3 Pro is a great alternative to the Wear OS crowd, and it’s down to £249/€279. You are getting flagship build quality with sapphire crystal glass and a titanium frame alongside upwards of 10 days of battery life with most of the health and activity tracking turned on – something you don’t see on the Wear OS competitors.

We’ve also gathered a few Garmin watches for those that take their running and sports tracking seriously. The latest Garmin Fenix 7 model is down to $599.99/£499.99/€568.36. It brings the ultimate sports and activity tracking experience with detailed tracking metrics for running, cycling, skiing, swimming, golf and strength training, among others.

All Fenix 7 smartwatches support all GNSS positioning standards, including L5, for more accurate details. There’s 16GB storage as well as NFC with support for Garmin Pay.

The Garmin Fenix 6 Pro is another option to consider. You get Garmin’s extensive sports tracking features, as well as built-in WiFi, GPS, sleep tracking and NFC all topped with up to two weeks of battery life on a single charge.

Garmin Fenix 6 Pro

The Garmin Forerunner 245 Music Edition is an even more affordable option in the world of top-tier fitness tracking. The added benefit to the Music Edition is that you get music streaming with native Spotify, Deezer and Amazon Music apps as well as local music storage (3.5GB), which can house up to 500 songs on the watch.

Smartbands

While smartwatches are definitely useful companions to our smartphone or even replacements in certain cases, smartbands are a great alternative with most of the health and sports tracking features at a fraction of the price.

Fitbit Charge 5 is one such option with a 1-inch OLED screen, built-in GPS and sleek design. You also get a body temperature sensor and Fitbit’s premium health and fitness tracking options.

Amazfit makes some great smart wearables and the Amazfit Band 7 is a great option at $39.99/€49.90. It offers a 1.47-inch AMOLED screen, Amazon Alexa, sports tracking for over 120 activities, and 5ATM water resistant.

Amazfit Band 7

Amazfit GTS 4 Mini is another great option to consider at $89.99/£89. You get all the added benefits of the Band7 but with a more spacious AMOLED screen and 15-day battery life.

Amazfit GTS 4 Mini

You can also consider the Huawei Band 7 which is down to £37/€42. You get an AMOLED screen, blood oxygen and heart rate tracking and all-day stress tracking. Band 7 can last up to two weeks between charges, and you can sync your runs with Strava.
