Stop your iPhone battery from draining fast! Forget Low Power mode, turn this setting off - HT Tech

iPhone battery draining fast : Avoid Low Power Setting, here is how to turn off this crucial setting.

Nobody likes to see their iPhone losing battery stamina rapidly and hence, the famous “yellow battery” icon is preferred. The Low Power mode is usually preferred by many to keep the battery consumption at its lowest. However, the low power mode restricts performance and screen brightness, which eventually affects the overall experience. Thankfully, there is a way to save battery life without losing out on performance and overall efficiency.

Your iPhone, just like most other smartphones, spends a lot of power on updating apps in the background. For example, the Instagram app keeps running in the background, using mobile data or Wi-Fi to update itself every few seconds so that you don't miss out on notifications. Same goes for most social media apps and games. Mobile data and Wi-Fi are two big reasons why your iPhone loses a lot of battery stamina.

Hence, it is smart to turn off background data for apps that you don't consider important. Unless you have a huge follower count, you can keep Facebook and Instagram from updating themselves in the background.

iPhone battery saving tip: Turn off background data

Step 1:

Go to the Settings app on your iPhone.

Step 2:

Next, tap General and navigate to Background App Refresh.

Step 3:

Here, you can tap on the Background App refresh option to choose your settings. Choose the Off option.

Step 4:

If you choose the apps to update on Wi-Fi, you can go back to the previous menu and tap on toggle switch for the individual app.

Adblock test (Why?)
