Samsung may not launch new foldable phones, Galaxy Z Flip 3, Z Fold 3 at its biggest event in August - Times of India

NEW DELHI: Samsung is expected to launch its next generation foldable smartphones and wearables at the next Galaxy Unpacked event. Recently, popular tipster Max Weinbach claims that the company is expected to launch the devices on August 3. Now, a new online report from South Korea claims that the foldable devices won't launch on August 3.
According to an online report by Yonhap News, Samsung is expected to unveil the new Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Fold 3 in the first or second week of August 2021. The report mentions that Samsung's H2 flagship launches usually take place on Fridays, so it is possible that the consumer electronics giant might launch the device either on August 6 or August 13.
The report also adds that Samsung is also said to launch the Galaxy Watch 4, Galaxy Watch 4 Active and the Galaxy Buds 2 at the event.
The report also mentions details about the launch of Galaxy S21 FE. According to the online report, Samsung has shifted the launch of Galaxy S21 FE to Fall 2021. This means that Samsung could launch the smartphone either in September or October.
The company has decided to postpone the launch as it wants to focus on Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3. The report also suggests that the shortage of the Snapdragon 888 chipset has also led to the delay in the launch of Galaxy S21 FE.
As per the new report, Samsung has also developed a 'hybrid S Pen' which is improved to be used on Ultra Thin Glass.
On the other hand, the Galaxy Buds 2 are expected to come at an affordable price tag and would lack active noise cancellation.
